Adult Radicular Cyst Enucleation or Marsupialization Combined with Bone Grafting A Predictable Outcome

Radicular cyst are a common pathology than occurs in the jaws, small cyst are normaly easy to manage.When we are confronting large radicular cyst in adult patients different approaches are possible.

The objective:We will report our experience performing large radicular cyst marsupialization or enucleation combined with bone graftiung

Methods:10 consecutive patients were involved in this study, 5 patients were treated with radicular cyst marsupialisation and bone grafting, and 5 were treated with enucleation and bone grafting, in all cases allograft material was used.

Results:The outcome was positive in all patients.Five patients had dental implants inserted to the grafted bone.

Conclusion:The combined use of radicular cyst masupialisation or enucleation with allograft seems to be a predictable procedure .
