Surgıcal Approaches and Alloplastic Reconstruction of the Infratemporal Fossa

Infratemporal fossa is one of the most challenging surgical regions of the cranio maxillofacial and the skull base region. Surgical interventions to this region may be required due to neoplasias, ankylosis, traumas and revision surgeries . The reconstruction strategies for this region may vary from autologous to alloplastic options.

In this presentation surgical approaches and alloplastic reconstructions of the infratemporal fossa will be discussed.
