We present a case of a 49-year-old woman with an incidental finding of a retroperitoneal homogeneous solid mass that demonstrated moderate enhancement on CT and no pathological uptake on PET-CT. Biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of a glomus tumor with benign features.

Glomus tumor is a rare, often benign mesenchymal neoplasm composed of glomus bodies, vasculature, and smooth muscle cells usually located at the dermis or subcutis of the extremities. Visceral locations have been sporadically reported. A retroperitoneal glomus tumor, has been reported only once before and had a cystic appearance.
