A Case Presentation about a Gastric Outlet Obstruction due to Trichobezoar

A case presentation about an 11 years old girl who arrives to the E.R with abdominal pain and recurrent vomiting. The case presents shortly the anamnesis, physical examination and laboratory exams and then concentrates on the imaging tests, including chest and abdominal x-rays, abdominal US, CT scan and eventually gastroscopy in order to find the right diagnosis - a gastric outlet obstruction due to trichobezoar. We also discuss the differential diagnosis, the treatment and conclude with a short review about bezoars in general and trichobezoars in particular.
