In this talk Agilent will show some of the new innovations it has been working on in the NGS space. Topics include Agilent’s new and improved NGS Library prep: SureSelect XT HS2, new SureSelect panels and a new quality control assay for cfDNA.

The SureSelect ecosystem is constantly evolving, allowing for new research possibilities and new ways to improve data quality. This year we are introducing a new library prep system: SureSelect XT HS2. In this new library prep the adapter structure has been completely renewed and now includes combined Unique Dual Indexing (UDI) with double stranded Unique Molecular Identifiers (UMI). Additional advantages include a higher amount of indexes and a higher conversion rate. On the content side Agilent has been working on a new bait design strategy that allows for improved CNV and Translocation calling on DNA samples in oncology research. We will also show an overview of new community designed panels that will be coming to the SureSelect ecosystem, this includes new exome and methylation designs for mouse and rat. Finally, we will discuss the importance of cfDNA input QC in NGS workflows for which Agilent has recently introduced a new TapeStation based assay.
