Lasers have become an important part of the dermatologist’s arsenal for the treatment of skin diseases.

The use of lasers in dermatology has had a major impact on the treatment of many dermatologic conditions.

In addition to their numerous aesthetic indications, lasers have proven to be efficacious in treating both primary skin diseases and cutaneous malignancies. The lecture will provides a review of the literature regarding laser treatment of selected skin conditions to facilitate reasoned application of this therapeutic modality in dermatology. We will focus on, specifically laser treatment of selected common dermatoses that we use in our clinic such as vascular lesions and inflamatory diseases . for example treating infantie hemangioma with Nd-yag laser and IPL in combination with Beta blocker, and treating Hidradenititis Suppurativa by combining biological treatment and ERB YAG / Nd- YAG Laser for DE roofing of sinus tract in precise form and destruction of hair follicles.
