The Key-Role of Information-Sharing in the Governance of Cybersecurity. The Italian Approach

Nunzia CIARDI is the Director of the Postal and Communications Police Service, the specialized Unit within the Italian State Police for combating cybercrime. Graduated in law, her competences include the protection of critical infrastructures, counter-terrorism via the internet, financial cybercrime, and online child exploitation. CIARDI is the national representative for Italy in several cybercrime international organizations and meetings, such as the EU-Cybercrime Taskforce within Europol. She is a member of the "Women4Cyber" Council, by the European Organization for Cyber Security (ECSO). She is a senior trainer in various police and military academies and a lecturer at diverse universities and institutions.
