Seasonal Qi Gong

A series of exercises specifically designed to strengthen the immune system, rejuvenate and prevent seasonal illnesses. Each season has its own series of exercises. The seasons comprise of autumn, winter, spring, summer and late summer. During each of the seasons, emphasis is placed more on improving the flow of energy and functionality in one area, but without neglecting the other areas. For example:

Autumn - Lungs and Large Intestine

Winter - Kidneys and Bladder

Spring - Liver and Gall Bladder

Summer - Heart, Pericardium and Small Intestine

Late summer - Spleen and Stomach

In this workshop: we will practice 2 sets of exercises:

5 Buds Qi Gong

· working on the wood element and nervous system

· to strengthen firm steady stability

simple (yet powerful) movement practices to release blocks — eliminating daily (or accumulated) stress, rejuvenating your immune system, improving your overall health, and restoring a positive outlook on life.

Hands Qi Gong 5

· working on fire element and blood circulation

· to help you ease and prevent illness, pain

We will stregthen 5 body systems:

respiratory – up down

skeleton- right left

nervous- forward back

blood – spreading centrifugal

digestion – centripital
