This paper will argue for the participation of Michael Scot and Samuel ibn Tibbon in the creation of the Latin "Liber de parabola et mandatis/Book of the Parable and the Commandments," a work that combines an explanation and demonstration of parabolic exegesis with a translation of Book III, 29-49 of Maimonides` Guide of the Perplexed, and will consider the implications and consequences of its creation.
