Dreams and Emerging Apocalypticism in Biblical Texts and Aramaic Dead Sea Scrolls

This paper will present some preliminary findings from my investigation of the dream accounts and their role in the apocalyptic literature, in particular in the Aramaic texts from the Dead Sea Scrolls. This investigation is concerned with the genre of written dreams and with cognition mechanisms involved in the process of interpreting these written dreams.
