Differences between Interactive Testimonies and Videographed Oral/Visual History: A Comparison of Empirical Studies with Students

In the second part of this panel, Christina Brüning deepens the understanding of this media format by comparing the effects of interactive testimonies with classic (linear) oral history interviews in history teaching. Based on empirical studies, she sheds light on the complexity of developing historical awareness via testimonies among high school students.
