The Oregon Jewish Museum: Staying Relevant in the Twenty-First Century

Judy Margles will focus her remarks on the ways that Holocaust representation and memorialization continue to shift with each new generation. Given the pressing issues such as the rise of white nationalism, xenophobia, houselessness, separation of families and treatment of asylum seekers, she will describe how the Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education looks at the intersections between past and present and remains relevant in the 21st century.
