WRITING ASSESSMENT WORKSHOP, PART 2

As a follow-up to Prof. Matsuda’s workshop on writing assessment (Feb. 2, 2022), we will consider several issues related to writing assessment and error correction. These include direct versus indirect feedback, a taxonomy of L2 writing errors, and understanding treatable vs. untreatable errors. We will also discuss how to create actionable feedback and develop a list of assessment criteria for writing at the Mitkadmim levels.
