Scientific outreach and education are part of the interrelationship between the scientific
community and the general public. Successful outreach promotes knowledge, scientific rational, and
inspires young students to deepen their scientific curiosity. Here we report a new
format of an outreach initiative. We invite local high school students to a dedicated mini session in a
scientific conference. The students come from the town or village where the conference in being
held. The mini session consists of lectures by leading scientists, dedicated and adjusted to the
students. Following the lectures, the students meet under-graduates who share insights from their
journey from high school to university. We encourage every scientific meeting held across the
country, to open its halls to the local community and incorporate dedicated mini sessions to high
school students.
