Deep learning has become a driving force in numerous fields, and single molecule localization microscopy is no exception. The integration of deep learning and single molecule localization microscopy opens up new avenues in the field, allowing for the localization of dense emitters, multicolor imaging, volumetric imaging, and more. This talk will provide an overview of our group’s recent advancements in the applications of deep learning in single molecule localization microscopy. Specific recent applications that will be discussed include: optimal task-specific wavefront shaping, optical DNA mapping and video-rate, dynamic super-resolution microscopy.
