Aims: The ultrasound in Physiotherapy worldwide is confirmed by organizations as WCPT*, ISEAPT*, APTA* or IFOMPT. RUSI (Rehabilitative Ultrasound Imaging) defines the use and give us real time information of biomechanic alteration: Dra. Dreyde Tehyen.(1)

This is the use of the ultrasound diagram within the Health Sciences in Physiotherapy since it is a Empirical Science and without a tool and a technic like this, the work is based in acts of faith. This way of working of Physiotherapy Based in Evidence improves the clinical and research field.
Background: The last published statistical on musculoskeletical(2) affectation concludes this sort of affectations are the second leading cause of disability worldwide.
i. Back pain 632.045 million
ii. Neck pain 332.049 million
iii. OA knee 250.785 million
iv. Other musculoskeletal conditions 560.978 million
The 65 % of Physiotherapist consultation is focused in Spine´s disorders. To have an objective, empiric and real time Method of exploration, as a Doctor has a stethoscope, avoids recurrences(3).
The RM and TC are common in diagnosis. But they don´t contribute in nothing in many occasions since it was based on images of static structures.
Converging with the international trend, it was created in Spain the SEEFI*, that will give evidence to the Physiotherapist profession and will structure the lines of ultrasound in it.
Methodology: RUSI will assess the musculature in the following way: Morphology (fatty/connective infiltration(4), Angle-Pennation of fibers(5), Shape(6…) Functionality (Functional Test(7), Panoramic view(8,9). We will see the importance, validity, confidence and relability in the use of Ultrasound in Physiotherapy.
