Health care at home through bio-monitoring, mobile apps, video and e-mail and text consultations, along with a host of new and revolutionary educational tools is where the most radical and effective transformation of health care will occur. This talk will critique and highlight some of the newest models of home health care and the tools that make them anecdotally seem successful. We will discuss the early and still incomplete evidence for bio-monitoring and mobile apps in use in the US, with suggestions for how to better measure efficacy and compliance going forward.
