דפוסים פרוזודיים תקינים ופתולוגיים בקרב ילדים לפי התיאוריה פונולוגיה כהתנהגות האדם

מטרת המחקר העיקרית היא להשוות ולעמת את הדפוסים הפרוזודיים בין דיבור תקין לבין דיבור לקוי בקרב ילדים. המטרה השנייה היא לבדוק האם קיים שוני בדפוסים הפרוזודיים המועדפים ע"י ילדים לפי המשתנה הסוציאו-לינגוויסטי של מגדר .

הנבדקים היו 50 ילדים דוברי ספרדית בניב של בואנוס איירס מלידה (44 בעלי דיבור תקין וששה עם לקויות דיבור) בני 5-8 שנים, במספר שווה של בנים ובנות. 

הקורפוס כלל חמישה משפטים בעלי מבנה דקדוקי פשוט (שני משפטי חיווי ושלושה משפטי שאלה עם מילת שאלה) שנאמרו במטלת חיקוי משפטים.

הנתונים נותחו ע"פ תאוריית ה- Autosegmenta-metrical Theory(Pierrehumbert, 1980) ובאמצעות הקווים המנחים של Tonal and Break Indices (Beckman et al. 1993/1997) והתאמות התיוג של הגישות הנ"ל לספרדית-ארגנטינאית (Enbe 2009 a,b,c, Enbe et al, 2006 Gurlekian et al. 2004; Enbe and Tobin 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2014).

הממצאים הוסברו ע"פ הממצאים של תאוריית הפונולוגיה כהתנהגות האדם

(Davis, 1987; Diver 1979, 1995; Tobin 1997a,b, 2009; Polczyńska et al.2009 ). 

תוצאות המחקר מראות כי: (א) לסוגי משפט שונים יש תכונות פרוזודיות שונות. (ב) בשתי קבוצות הנבדקים נמצאו מעט הבדלים פרוזודיים בין בנים ובנות. (ג) על פי התאוריה של פונולוגיה כהתנהגות האדם, תוצאות המחקר מראות יחס הפוך בין כמות הווריאציות הפרוזודיות לבין מורכבות המשפט. במשפטי חיווי, הנחשבים כפשוטים יותר, נמצאו הבדלים פרוזודיים נרחבים בין הדיבור התקין לבין הדיבור הפתולוגי . לעומת זאת, במשפטי שאלה עם מילת שאלה שהם המשפטים הקשים ביותר לביצוע (הם מראים סדר שונה ממשפטים חיווי ולכן, הם מסומנים יותר), נמצא דימיון רב בין הדיבור התקין לבין דיבור הפתולוגי וזאת במטרה לשמור על דפוסים פרוזודים מסומנים. (4) תוצאות המחקר פותחות אופק חדש לפיתוח תוכניות טיפוליות בקרב ילדים עם לקויות דיבור.
